SF Bay Area · Postpartum Doula & Infant Care Specialist
The weeks after birth are tender, transformative, and sometimes overwhelming. I'm here to bring calm, confidence, and care into your home — so you can focus on what matters most.
Julia's philosophy
"Every family's rhythm is unique — I gently adapt to yours."
01
Rest easy knowing your baby is in gentle, experienced hands through the night. I handle feedings and soothing so you can sleep and recover.
02
Whether you're breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or a combination, I offer calm, non-judgmental guidance to help feeding feel manageable.
03
Postpartum emotions can be a lot to carry. I'm here to listen without judgment, offer reassurance, and help you feel less alone.
04
Baby laundry, bottle prep, nursery tidying, simple meal prep — the small things that make a big difference when you're running on little sleep.
Julia was a wonderful, grounding presence for us. I always looked forward to seeing her and felt comfortable handing our new arrival off to her for the night.

Meet Julia Mochizuki
With over six years of experience in infant and child care — and two years dedicated specifically to postpartum support — I've had the privilege of walking alongside many families through one of life's most profound transitions.
My approach is calm, intuitive, nurturing, and practical. I believe every family's rhythm is unique, and my goal is always to gently adapt to your home's needs — providing structure and confidence without judgment or pressure.
Driven by my passion to truly support women and babies, I bring warmth, understanding, and knowledge that empowers parents long after my visits end. My goal is simple: to help every family feel confident, secure, and well cared for — fully prepared to continue their journey with peace and assurance.
Trained through the Doulas Institute, with a deep foundation in postpartum care, newborn support, and the physical and emotional recovery of new parents.
Additional training in lactation support to help families navigate breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and combination feeding with confidence and without judgment.
Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and Sleep Consultant certifications — deepening my expertise to offer even more specialized, evidence-based care to the families I serve.
My approach
Whether you choose breast, bottle, or combo — there's no wrong way to nourish your baby. I'm here to support your choices, not shape them.
My presence is steady and grounding. I arrive ready to work alongside you and bring a sense of ease to even the most overwhelming days.
Six years of real-world experience means I bring answers — not just reassurance — to the questions that come up at 3am.
I'm reachable between visits by phone or text, because your questions and concerns don't wait for scheduled hours.
What I offer
Every package begins with a free consultation so I can understand your family's unique needs, goals, and home environment. From there, all in-home support is tailored to you.
Before baby arrives
Complimentary
Before anything else, we connect. I'll come to meet you, learn about your family's needs and goals for the postpartum period, and talk through what support would look like in your home. This session includes postpartum resources and educational materials to help you prepare for baby's arrival.

Sleep deprivation is one of the hardest parts of early parenthood. I take the night shift so you and your partner can rest and recover. I handle all nighttime wake-ups, feedings, diaper changes, and settling — so you can actually sleep.
